IQauthenticate: On-Camera Image Authentication

Why Authenticate on the camera?  Legal use of digital images is limited because they are easily manipulated.   Digital video recorders (DVRs) and network video recorders (NVRs) can detect tampered images after they have been processed but cannot verify the source of the video, so they might "authenticate" video that has already been tampered with.  IQeye cameras with IQauthenticate have a unique encrypted digital signature that identifies the IQeye that produced the image and detects if the image has been altered, if even one pixel has been changed.

IQauthenticate requirements

IQauthenticate comes standard on the IQeye300 camera series and as an option on the
IQeye511. For IQeye300 cameras already installed, users can upgrade for free by
downloading the IQauthenticate firmware.

Submit your image for authentication

You can check any JPEG image to see if it is an original IQeye camera with IQauthenticate.
Start by submitting the image via email to IQinVision.  Once we receive the image we will
confirm if it was created by an IQeye with IQauthenticate.  If it is IQauthentic, you will
receive an email from IQinVision confirming the Camera type and the hardware address
of the camera.
