Pre-Requisites

IQU enrollment is open to all full-time employees of IQeye partners, approved distributors, or customers purchasing through an approved distributor.  A minimum of one employee needs to be certified per partner or distributor.  For partners with multiple locations, a minimum of one employee needs to be certified per region.*  In order to attend, you must have a working knowledge of the following topics: 
  • IP addressing
  • WANs & LANs
  • Network topology
  • Current wirless standards
  • Analog video (NTSC & PAL)
  • Encoding/Decoding (specifically JPEG & AVI)
  • Frame rate (fps) 
Fees & Registration
  • $395:  Fee if you bring your own IQ7xx Series security camera.  Cost includes:  IQrecorder license, CF media card, cables, and camera mount
  • $895: Fee if you wish IQinVision to provide you with an IQ7xx Series security camera.  Cost includes:  IQeye 752 Day/Night security camera with lens, IQrecorder license, CF media card, cables, and camera mount
  • Registration must be submitted online:  Click on the IQU event listed in the left column at the top of this page.  You will be taken to the IQU event page and will see a registration link there
Course Materials **Important**

Don't forget a laptop!Laptop
Each student is required to bring a laptop PC with an Ethernet port
and administrative priveleges.

Please install updated versions of Microsoft XP Pro or 2000 OS, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Reader prior to training.  We recommend an external mouse.

Day Night IP Security CameraIP Camera
Each student must have an IQeye7xx Series security camera with IQrecorder and a CF Card.  If you already purchased one and wish to use it for the training, you will need to provide the camera's MAC address upon registration.

Additional Information
If an IQU graduate leaves a Certified Partner Company they forfeit their IQU Certification.  Certified Partner companies must have another IQU graduate or re-certify another employee to remain an IQinVision Certified Partner.  IQinVision reserves the right to change the training fee.  Taxes will be applied to fees at time of purchase.  If you must cancel for any reason there are no refunds, but your course fee may be applied to a future IQU session.

Each class is limited to 15 persons.  A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

To maintain your IQU Certified Partner status, you will be required to:

  • Attend one IQinVision Certified Partner training per year
  • Respond to sales and support calls with 24 hours
  • Demonstrate IQinVision cameras at least once quarterly at a regional event or trade show
  • Prominently display the IQeye Certified Partner logo on your website with a link to the IQinVision website
  • Notify your entire customer database of all new product/firmware introductions
