Technical Service Specialist
Europe
Technical Service Specialist - Europe The Technical Service Specialist will be a key contributor to the IQinVision team. We will be looking for candidates with the following experience and skill-set: - At least 2 years experience with a high-tech company supporting electronic, security or networking equipment. - Demonstrated success in system level problem solving - Experience in conducting technical / network product trainings - Ability to work in a team environment - Fluent in French (preferred) Responsibilities Overview The Technical Service Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of Level 1 & 2 technical support and training for the complete IQeye line of products including: 1. Prepare & Conduct IQU – Certified Dealer Trainings 2. Supporting customers and RSMs with installation/operation questions 3. Traveling approximately 30% of the time to help with installation and troubleshooting of key accounts 4. Communicate bugs, enhancements and feature requests to Product Management 5. Prepare & Conduct IQU – Certified Dealer Trainings 6. Support Trade Shows 7. Work with other tech support personnel to maintain FAQs, Technical tips, Newsletters, and Blogs 8. Beta testing for new product introductions and firmware releases 9. Evaluate and report on products complimentary to the IQeye product line. 10. Assist in the development of installation/operation manuals and A&E specifications 11. Help develop programs that create a reputation for outstanding service and support while reducing the number of nuisance/low-level tech support calls. Director of Development Engineering

Tech Services Specialist
San Juan Capistrano, CA

We are looking for key team members to help us manage that growth. The Technical Service Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of the return authorization process, evaluation & repair of customer product, including level 1 & 2 technical support for the complete line of IQeye products. We will be looking for candidates with the following experience and skill-set: 1. Process all in and out of warranty product returns for repair / evaluation 2. Process advanced replacement requests and product returned for credit 3. Log and communicate the status of all product repairs 4. Perform board level repair and document all product failures for analysis 5. Work with engineering to ensure the correct data is being collected and reported on all product returns 6. Report monthly the in warranty return rate 7. Help develop programs that create a reputation for outstanding service and support while reducing the product repair turn-around time 8. Supporting customers and RSMs with installation/operation questions 9. Beta testing for new product introductions and firmware releases 10. Communicate bugs, enhancements and feature requests to Product Management 11. Work with tech support to maintain FAQs, Technical tips, and Newsletters Education / Experience Required 1. Associate Degree in computer science or related field preferred. At least (2) years of repair or service experience. 2. Experience in CCTV and/or IP Video Security is beneficial. 3. Must have experience in board level product evaluation & repair. Must also have experience assisting customer with product trouble shooting via phone and e-mail.
