IQinVision: A Continuing Record of Innovation and Leadership

March 28 2007

(1) Strong growth and technology leadership validates IQinVision strategy.
In a letter to media, staff, partners, and end users, IQinVision President Peter DeAngelis summarizes the company’s success since its 1997 founding. IQinVision’s commitment to perfecting its product line through real-world deployments and to partner cooperation has brought the company to an attractive and unique position: a mature, profitable company with an established product in a very young, fast-growing market.

(2) IQeye701s deployed at Flagstaff, AZ courthouse to ensure better security. Working with partner IPvision, and with OnSSI as the NVR software, the completed installation finds the customer very satisfied with IQinVision camera performance and video quality.

(3) WBR Rotterdam standardizes on IQinVision Megapixel technology.
WBR Rotterdam is a leading Dutch rental real estate company with about 27,500 houses and apartments. WBR was experiencing problems with loitering and vandalism. IQinVision, with partner Xserius, provided WBR with a system to meet their security needs: IQeye megapixel cameras and the IQrecorder for a user-friendly system; remote surveillance and storage through a secure DSL connection; megapixel resolution that doubled suspect identification; and best of all—because of system simplicity, use of commodity hardware and reduced vandalism—highly impressive ROI and TCO.

(4) IQinVision continues to expand line of Network Camera solutions.
Company announces the addition of new cameras and accessories to the growing IQeye family of megapixel network camera solutions: the IQeye Vandal Dome, the IQeye510 Wide Dynamic Range IP Network Camera, and the X2 outdoor housing.

(5) IQinVision and Agent Vi announce technology integration.
The new integration enables every IQeye300 series camera to run AGENT Vi’s 3.0 engine at the edge of the network, making it a true distributed processing system. The resulting decreased cost and increased scalability will make it more practical to deploy smart video in many more customer applications worldwide.

(6) IQinVision and Dacolian integration offers Automatic Number Plate Recognition in the camera.
The IQeye300 series with Dacolian Intrada ANPR software can function as a stand-alone system or as a component for a larger system. By combining these two best-in-class products, end users can now perform Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) in the camera without the need for a separate server and proprietary hardware.
